Hey, I’m Josh Vokey! I was a series regular in the award-winning series ORPHAN BLACK with Tatiana Maslany who won an Emmy for the show. The series has won sixty-eight awards on top of ninety-four nominations. Despite my character’s nerdiness, I am not an actual geneticist. But I do love a good board game and I’m definitely a history nerd.
While waiting out the pandemic in Toronto, I was approved for my green card and am excited to move to Los Angeles. I grew up in Gander, Newfoundland—you probably haven’t heard of it unless you have seen the Broadway musical COME FROM AWAY.
I also love challenging myself creatively and am developing a pilot through the Sundance Institute.
When I’m not acting, I’m boxing or hanging out with my rescue dog, Hugo, and my wife, Samara. Oh. And I’m a fanatical Montreal Canadiens fan – Go Habs Go!
